Nancy Koltes (is) at Home in its Nolita neighborhood for the past five years

A cozy shop with a cushion-y bed serving as its centerpiece, Nancy Koltes at Home seems through its décor to invite visitors to take a little nap as they leisurely peruse the large selection of bedding. At home in its Nolita neighborhood for the past five years, this lifestyle store features an array of bed linens designed by Nancy Koltes (a New Yorker who has been designing linens for two decades) as well as other luxurious bed and bath merchandise, including afghans, bed throws, Scandia Down comforters and pillows, pajamas, and towels.

Koltes' designs are elegant, mixing and matching from a basic palette of neutrals and pastels. Each season she adds infusions of color, pattern, and woven texture to the collection. Using exquisite quality, rich woven fabrics, Koltes combines American sensibility with Italian craftsmanship. Her linens regularly grace the beds in pages of Elle Decor, Met Home, and Architectural Digest.

"What makes the collection distinct is the fact that it's not just one single point of view," says Andrew Sedlock, general retail manager. "There's something for each type of home décor theme, and the store is always evolving and changing."

Nancy Koltes at Home has a sister store in Corte Madera, California, near San Francisco, and will soon open another store in southern California. Products are also sold online, through the Nancy Koltes at Home website.
