11 N. Moore Street is located at the north end of Tribeca, at Varick Street
In fall 2012, construction of a new residential building began at 11 N. Moore Street, located in Tribeca at the northeast corner of Varick Street. Designed by architects Adjmi and Andreoli, the 70,000-square-foot luxury condominium building will rise nine stories and be home to 19 units, including a penthouse with private rooftop pool.
The building is expected to open in mid-2014.
The architects describe the project as a contemporary study on the proportions of the typical Tribeca Warehouse Building. Dramatic over-sized windows are recessed 18 inches from the faade, creating privacy from the street below and architectural rhythm. The upper portion of the building is clad in brushed and natural limestone, and rests on a steel beam base that reflects the industrial character of Tribeca.
