19 Park Place is in the middle of the block between Broadway and Church Street

Construction of a new 25-story residential building at 19 Park Place is planned to begin in early 2013. Located on the north side of Park Place between Church Street and Broadway, the "sliver" building -- so called for its narrow façade that measures just 25 feet wide -- was designed by architect Ismael Leyva.

Work on the new tower began in spring 2013 and is expected to continue through fall 2014.
