Construction of a new 25-story residential building at 19 Park Place is planned to begin in early 2012. Located on the north side of Park Place between Church Street and Broadway, the “sliver” building -- so called for its narrow façade that measures just 25 feet wide -- was designed by architect Ismael Leyva.

Work on the new tower is expected to continue through 2013.  Construction access primarily will be from Murray Street, on the north side of the lot.
