Construction of a new 18-story residential tower began at 50 Franklin Street in September 2007. Located near Lafayette Street in Chinatown, the tower will replace a street-level parking lot.

Contractor CM & Associates is developing the tower, designed by Rawlings Architects. It is scheduled to open by March 2009.
