Located on the southwest corner of Rector Street, 50 Trinity Place is the site of a new 28-story hotel in the area south of the World Trade Center. It is one of several new downtown buildings under construction by the McSam Hotel Group, with management by Tritel Construction.
Construction of the new tower is on hold until spring 2009, with the developer using the location as a staging site for 99 Washington Street construction.
