A 42-story hotel at 8 Stone Street is under construction in the Financial District south. It will be a luxury full-service Doubletree Hotel, with a restaurant and 4,500 square feet of meeting space. The hotel will feature 400 guest rooms and is scheduled for completion by late 2010.

Con Ed will continue doing vault work on Bridge Street through early September 2010
The Bridge Street sidewalk will be reopened for pedestrian traffic at the beginning of September 2010
