The work will continue through late June
This utility project began on Maiden Lane between Broadway and Liberty Place on May 17, 2007. Con Edison crews executed the project for the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) as an extension of the Fulton Street Transit Center project.

The project took place in two phases on the north and south sides of the street. Work included construction of a new manhole on the south side of Maiden Lane at Liberty Place, with new electrical ducts installed between that manhole and a vault on the north side of Maiden Lane (just west of Liberty Place).  The work was completed in late June 2007.
