The project is scheduled to be completed in February
The project is scheduled to be completed in February

Now that the 130 Liberty Street building is down to floors 1 and 2, contractor Bovis Lend Lease plans to remove the tower crane now affixed to the north side of the building. With an assist crane at the site starting Thursday, January 13th, the removal operation is planned for January 17th through 26th. The building is now in the final few weeks deconstruction, and the contractor also is removing the protective sidewalk sheds on adjacent buildings this month. The project’s completion is expected by late February 2011, when the site will be turned over to the Port Authority for continued construction of the South Bathtub and Vehicular Security Center.
