The new blue netting is going up around the building

Preparatory work is now underway for 130 Liberty Street deconstruction. Last week the Lower Manhattan Development Corporation notified the community of the scope of those preparations, which includes removing the old netting around the building and replacing it with a new (blue) fire-retardant netting, among other things. Contractor Bovis Lend Lease is conducting the work using the tower crane and other equipment.
