130 Liberty Demolition to Restart November 2nd

Crews are mobilizing for deconstruction now

The deconstruction of 130 Liberty Street is set to resume, with final permits issued this week. The Lower Manhattan Development Corporation made the announcement on October 21st, stating that the city Department of Buildings issued demolition permits, and that contractor Bovis Lend Lease and its subcontractor LVI/Mizzochi, “are now mobilizing the equipment necessary for the work to begin.” Work is slated to commence on Monday, November 2nd, deconstructing the former Deutsche Bank Building’s remaining 26 floors. A new projected completion date has yet to be announced.
