1 Chase Plaza renovation work began in summer 2012

A new renovation project recently began at 1 Chase Manhattan Plaza. Contractor Hunter Roberts is repairing the drainage system on and around the plaza, bounded by Liberty, William, Pine and Nassau Streets. Stone work, drain replacement, and waterproofing work are included, with crews working regular weekday hours, and nights and weekends as needed, through early 2013. The plaza is closed during the project, allowing crews to expedite the work and repair the stairways around the perimeter, while maintaining pedestrian safety. Sidewalks will remain open.
