24 John Street weekday crane lifts continue
24 John Street weekday crane lifts continue

The new hotel under construction at 24 John Street is proceeding, and crane operations will require intermittent full closures of John Street, between Broadway and Nassau. The closures will take place on weekdays between the hours of 7 a.m. and 6 p.m., in coordination with other projects in the area. The next closures are expected to occur for steel deliveries on September 12th and 13th, with more to be scheduled later in the month. The project involves adding 15 floors to the existing six-story structure, which will be renovated as a 90-room hotel. It is expected to open in 2013.
