Weekday closures are planned for 24 John Street construction
Weekday closures are planned for 24 John Street construction

Construction of the new hotel at 24 John Street continues, and this week the project requires intermittent full closures of John Street, between Broadway and Nassau. The closures will take place on weekdays for concrete pump operations, starting at 6 p.m. on March 13th and continuing through March 15th. It is being coordinated with other projects in the area. The 24 John Street project also recently installed its construction hoist.

The 24 John renovation project involves adding 15 floors to the existing six-story structure, which will be renovated as a 90-room hotel. It is expected to open approximately early 2014.
