99 Washington Street caisson installation begins

Starting the week of August 4th, Tritel Construction will begin drilling 27 caissons to support the excavation and construction of 99 Washington Street. Crews are working at the site on weekdays from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with caisson-installation work scheduled to continue through late September 2008. Located at the corner of Rector Street, the new 35-story high rise is one of several developments underway downtown by the McSam Hotel Group.
