The road base was recently installed between William Street and Gold Street

The city’s reconstruction of Beekman Street is winding down, with crews pouring the concrete base in two locations this week. Between Park Row and Nassau and in the Park Row intersection, crews will install part of the road base, though additional utility upgrades continue through April.

At the east end of Beekman, the road base was recently installed between William and Gold, with crews continuing utility work in the Gold/Beekman intersection before that concrete installation. The work at Gold Street should be complete in the next few weeks. The entire Beekman Street/Park Place capital reconstruction project is slated for spring completion, when final asphalt will be installed during warmer temperatures.
