BPC Site 23 Crane Removal to Close Warren Street

The tower is slated to open in January 2011
The tower is slated to open in January 2011

The crane is coming down at Battery Park City (BPC) Site 23, requiring a full closure of Warren Street on Saturday, November 21st, from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. The closure allows Plaza Construction crews to dismantle the crane using Warren Street in BPC, as well as the northbound lane of North End Avenue between Murray and Chambers Street. The roadways will be restored overnight on Saturday. The tower crane was used to erect the 22-story residential building, which is slated to open in January 2011.
