Bus Stops Relocated on West Street

The relocation is scheduled for approximately six months.
The relocation is scheduled for approximately six months.

Beginning Monday, December 1, 2008 in order to complete Route 9A/West reconstruction work (West Street Promenade Segment 2) the express bus stops on West Street between Barclay Street and Murray Street will be relocated. The existing northbound X6, X7 & X9 bus stops at the southeast corner of Murray Street and West Street (between Barclay Street and West Street) will be relocated to the existing M20 bus stop at the northeast corner of West Street and Chambers Street (between Chambers Street and Harrison Street).  The same existing northbound X10 bus stop will be relocated to a temporary bus stop on the south side of Warren Street between West Street and Greenwich Street.

The relocation is scheduled for approximately six months.  This relocation is necessary to ensure complete underground utility and roadway reconstruction work on West Street between Barclay Street and Chambers Street.

Questions about the project can be addressed by community liaison Vivian Wu at 1-800-714-0454 or route9a@dot.state.ny.us.
