The city DOB has a new site information panel template

The city Department of Buildings has launched the Construction Information Panel Pilot Program, to encourage contractors and building owners to consolidate permit postings and contractor signage into a single informational panel. The programs goal is to improve a construction sites appearance, and make it easier for New Yorkers to learn about an ongoing project. The new panel was designed as a template adaptable to any project, and includes space for a rendering and additional details of interest to the local community.

The Panel Pilot Program is open to any new building or alteration job with a construction fence. Complete specifications on the program and design guidelines for the information panel are posted on the DOB website, or downloadable as a PDF document here.

To participate in the Construction Information Panel Pilot Program, sites must contact communitypartnerships@buildings.nyc.gov.
