This work accomodates the security turntable installation on Broad Street

To accommodate the new security turntable installation at Broad just north of Beaver Street, Con Edison is planning to relocate electric conduits at that intersection. Crews began digging test pits on October 6th, and the work is slated to take place during the following permitted hours:

• Broad south of Beaver: weeknights 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. (no noisy work after 10 p.m.)
• Beaver west of Broad: weekends 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
• Broad and Beaver intersection: weeknights 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.; weekends 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. (no noisy work after 10 p.m.)

The turntable installation is part of the city Economic Development Corporation’s New York Stock Exchange Streetscape Improvement project, which includes work in several locations around the Financial District.
