The begins in Central Park and ends in Battery Park

A special construction embargo will be in effect starting Friday, March 19th through Sunday, March 21st for the New York City Half-Marathon. The embargo applies to projects in these locations that have not received waivers:

• Chambers Street between West Street and River Terrace
• River Terrace between Chambers Street and Vesey Street
• North End Avenue between Chambers Street and Warren Street
• Joe DiMaggio Highway (southbound) between West 42nd Street and Chambers Street
• Joe DiMaggio Highway (north- and southbound) between West 42nd Street and West 44th Street
• 5th Avenue between East 95th Street and East 102nd Street
• 7th Avenue from Central Park South to West 42nd Street
• West 42nd Street from 7th Avenue to Joe DiMaggio Highway

The half-marathon begins in Central Park at 7 a.m. on March 21st, with its final segment along West Street and finish line at Chambers Street. The post-race festival will be held in Battery Park City. Click here to read more on the city Department of Transportation website.
