Work includes improvements to utilities and water-main upgrades

The city Department of Design and Construction, in conjunction with Con Edison, is performing intermittent off-hour work for the duration of the Park Place reconstruction between West Broadway and Broadway. Crews will work extended hours from 3 p.m. to 7 a.m. to help expedite Con Edison’s capital utility work, while other utility and water-main upgrades continue during daytime hours. Noise levels for the Beekman Street/Park Place Reconstruction project are being monitored and conform to city noise regulations for day and nighttime hours.
