Fiterman Hall Dismantling Underway

Deconstruction begins to ramp up
Deconstruction begins to ramp up

Windows and other materials are starting to come down at Fiterman Hall, as deconstruction ramps up. The building was fully abated last month, and crews have now placed demolition equipment on its roof for the safe removal of its various façade and structural elements, which will begin on all sides of the building. Deconstruction is expected to continue through approximately November 2009, followed immediately by construction of the new, 14-story Fiterman Hall through mid-2012.
