Frankfort Street Bus Stops Relocated

The bridge work is scheduled to start May 1
The bridge work is scheduled to start May 1

The New York City Department of Transportation (NYDOT) required the relocation of two bus stops on Frankfort Street between Pearl Street and Gold Street. The move is necessary before the rehabilitation of the Brooklyn Bridge work begins. The bridge work is scheduled to start May 1 requiring the express bus stop, serving the X13, X15, X18, X20 and X25 to be moved around the corner onto Pearl Street. The local bus stop M22 was moved 100 feet east along Frankfort Street.

The Brooklyn Bridge ramps and approaches are in need of repair and the entire span will be repainted to prevent steel corrosion. The entire project is scheduled to continue into 2014.
