The new 18-story residential tower at 50 Franklin Street topped out last month, with contractor CM & Associates now performing façade and utility work. Tonight, crews will use a crane to install the building’s cooling tower on its roof. The operation requires the full closure of Franklin Street between Lafayette and Broadway starting at 8 p.m. Pedestrian access will be maintained. The building is slated to open in March 2009.
