The 43-story tower, is expected to open in 2009

It’s been two and a half years since Goldman Sachs broke ground on its new headquarters in Battery Park City (200 West Street), and as of this week the building’s steel skeleton has topped out at floor 43. Next week, one of three cranes will be removed, and crews already have started installing the building’s curtain wall. The tower is on track for the scheduled June 2009 completion.
