Lane Changes on Broadway at Fulton Street

This work is part of the Fulton Street reconstruction project
This work is part of the Fulton Street reconstruction project

Work to replace the 150-year-old water main on Fulton Street continues and will extend into the Broadway roadway beginning Monday, January 28th. On that day the contractor will close the center two lanes of Broadway from Vesey to Fulton Street, allowing crews to excavate the roadway, install the new water main, and upgrade other utilities.

Vehicles traveling south on Broadway will be directed to the two outer (curb) lanes, with signs and TEAs helping to direct vehicles and pedestrians. The change is expected to continue through late March 2008.
