Maiden Lane Westbound-Only Starting March 14

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times

Beginning Saturday, March 14, 2009, the city will make Maiden Lane temporarily one-way westbound between Water and Gold Streets. The traffic change allows Department of Design and Construction crews to perform capital reconstruction work as part of the Liberty Street project.

Eastbound traffic will be re-routed to northbound William Street, turning right onto John Street. Liberty Street between William and Gold Street will be made two-way to maintain parking-garage access during the project.

The traffic change will be in place for approximately three months. Detour signs will be installed, and traffic-enforcement agents will be posted during work hours. Questions or concerns can be addressed to Kisha Dasent, the projects Community Construction Liaison, at (212) 693-0295.
