Nassau Roadway to Close for Reconstruction

This work is part of the Fulton Corridor Phase 2 project
This work is part of the Fulton Corridor Phase 2 project

The week of June 1st brings the start of capital reconstruction on Nassau Street between Ann and Beekman, requiring a full closure. The work will close Nassau to vehicles for the duration of the project, through approximately late September. Crews will work standard weekday hours from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with occasional night and weekend shifts as needed. Crews also will close the intersection of Nassau and Ann Streets on weekends. Pedestrian and business access including deliveries will be maintained at all times.

The project is part of the city Department of Design and Construction’s Fulton Corridor Phase 2 project, which also includes reconstruction and water-main replacement along other areas of Fulton Street. The infrastructure work on Nassau will continue northward to Spruce Street, and in the coming months will span southward to Maiden Lane as part of the project’s next phase. Questions can be addressed to project liaison Liz Baptiste at (212) 608-2232.
