This work is part of the Beekman and Park Place Reconstruction Project

The city’s capital street reconstruction extends onto Nassau Street from Beekman to Spruce this week. An extension of the Beekman/Park Place Reconstruction project, the new segment allows crews to replace a degraded water main and upgrade other utilities in the Nassau roadbed over the next three months. One traffic lane will be maintained on weekdays during the project, but a full closure is in place on weekends, and parking is temporarily restricted. Weekday hours are 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.; weekend hours are 8 a.m. to 4:30 a.m. Local residents and businesses will be notified of water-service interruptions as they occur.
