On April 16th, Tribeca’s 1/2/3 Chambers Street became the latest ADA-compliant subway station in New York. The new elevator on the northwest corner of Chambers and Hudson Street is now available to take riders to the mezzanine level. There, riders can pay the subway fare and use one of two elevators down to the middle of the uptown and downtown train platforms. The Metropolitan Transportation Authority began installing the new elevators in early 2007.
