LowerManhattan.info has launched a new video page that captures construction activities and progress at various downtown sites. An extension of the site’s Image Gallery -- where visitors can view dozens of downtown photo albums, events, and renderings of future buildings -- the short videos provide a glimpse of the construction and rebuilding process. In some cases, before and after imagery even allows a look back at locations no longer accessible, as with the former South Ferry subway terminal. The videos are typically around one to two minutes in length, and also are linked to the Lower Manhattan Construction Command Center’s Twitter and Facebook pages.
