With foundations complete at 99 Washington Street, crews will install a tower crane at the site starting Saturday, February 4th at 6 a.m., through Sunday, February 5th at 10 p.m. During those hours, Washington Street will be closed to vehicles from Albany to J.P. Ward Streets. Rector Street also will be closed from West to Greenwich Streets. Flagpersons and detour signs will be posted around the neighborhood to help maintain traffic flow. The new crane will be used to erect the 43-story hotel, planned to open as a Holiday Inn in spring 2013.
