113 Nassau Street will rise 30 stories

The new 30-story residential tower at 113 Nassau Street will soon rise, with a tower crane to be installed at the site in early July. Contractor BRF Construction will install the crane starting at 6 a.m. on Saturday, July 14th, through 10 p.m. on Sunday, July 15th. Ann Street will be fully closed between Park Row and Nassau Street during the operation, as will Theatre Alley between Ann and Beekman. (In the event of inclement weather, the operation will take place the following weekend, July 21-22.) Foundation work at 113 Nassau Street concluded this month, and now crews are beginning superstructure erection that will continue through the end of the year. Occupancy is expected in spring 2013.
