The work is expected to begin Monday, July 6
The work is expected to begin Monday, July 6

On approximately Monday, July 6th, the city Department of Design and Construction will shift east- and westbound traffic to the south side of Fulton Street between Gold and Cliff Streets. The change allows crews to begin mass excavation on the north side of Fulton as part of the ongoing water-main installation project. The work should continue for about four months, through fall 2009. Crews are also at work restoring the Fulton Street roadway on both sides of Gold Street, including new curbs and sidewalks, working weekdays from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Pedestrian and commercial access will be maintained.
