The change will be in place for approximately six months

This weekend, Promenade South Segment 2 crews will shift northbound traffic lanes into the median of West Street (Route 9A) from Barclay to Chambers Streets. The new pattern will be in place starting Saturday, December 6th, allowing crews to excavate, update utilities, and then repave the east side of the highway. The change will be in place for approximately six months, through May 2008. Three lanes of traffic will be maintained at all times, and signs will be in place to advise motorists of the change.
