Utility work continues at site 23

Utility work continues at Battery Park City Site 23, requiring weekend closures on Warren Street between North End Avenue and West Street. The closure allows for vault and drainage work to proceed in the area, and will be in effect on April 3rd, 10th, and 11th, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. each day (weather permitting). Pedestrian traffic will be maintained, and motorists are advised to use Chambers and Murray Street as alternative routes. Developer Plaza Construction plans to open Site 23, located at 300 North End Avenue, in late 2011. Crane removal at the tower is planned for May 2010.
