The relocation is scheduled to remain into spring 2011

Starting this week, the west-side bikeway between Albany and Vesey Streets will be relocated to the Battery Park City (BPC) north cove esplanade.  The relocation allows Port Authority crews to perform infrastructure work associated with the World Trade Center chiller plant, which ties into Hudson River underground water lines in BPC. The bikeway relocation is expected to remain on the esplanade through approximately spring 2011. Signs along the route will help guide cyclists through the detour.
