The Port Authority will host a public hearling on WTC vehicular security and bus parking facility

As part of the Environmental Assessment (EA) process, the Port Authority is hosting a public hearing on the World Trade Center (WTC) Vehicular Security Center and Tour Bus Parking Facility project. The hearing will be held Tuesday, November 28th, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Borough of Manhattan Community College (199 Chambers Street), in the Richard Harris Terrace Room. Brief presentations will be made at 4:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.
The hearing allows the Port Authority to address public comments and answer questions about the Vehicular Security Center, planned for the south side of the WTC site. The center will serve as a security checkpoint for delivery and other vehicles entering the WTC, as well as the tour bus parking area.
